OVERCHARGING 200%

Why is my bill $250 to $377 per month when it is a $89.99/mo "triple play"? They are charging for each individual item (Internet, Phone and TV) at the highest rate and "seem to have a problem with our computers", which means they are knowingly overcharging and hoping people don't notice so we over pay. {please keep it relevant}

Hi-

I referred your issue to customer service.

This was their response:

"In reviewing the customers account, I do see that he is being billed for some features outside the bundle. I have placed an order to correct this. The order was back dated to 4/12/10 which was the date he started billing for these features.

This should correct everything starting with the 7/25/10 bill. This bill should also contain credit for all the charges customer has been over billed for.

I will certainly follow-up on this to make sure that everything is corrected."

Good job Doug!

It is nice to see an item that was not moved to the private Verizon board, and to see it here where action was taken. I think we should see more of this, instead of many of the issues being resolved behind the scenes. The Verizon Employees and Administrators do many things to assist in resolving issues that need direct interaction with the customer. Although the forums are not to be used for the primary way to get an issue solved that only Verizon can handle, it is good to see publicly from time to time even though the contact us page should be used for individual issues. I have myself publicly asked for help here in the forums, and have received it. Kudos to you, and the Verizon Employees that do care!
