Verizon fios tv sound issues

I recently switched from comcast to verizon, I have the fios triple play with a dvr box and upped internet speed. Everything has been relatively smooth until this very annoying issue that comes and goes... Off and on the sound quality on my dvr will be horrible, I know it's not my tv as I have a ps3 hooked onto it and the sound is amazing,plus I never had this issue with comcast. The dvr box when on certain tones of sounds sometimes seems to vibrate and have a very annoying fuzz over the voice or sound....sorry it's hard to describe lol. This doesn't always happen it comes and goes over a couple of days and when it's real bad, I reset my dvr and sometimes it goes away, other times it don't... It's driving me crazy! It makes it very hard to enjoy any program. Please help!

How is the box connected to the TV? Have you tried to disconnect and reconnect the cables?
