How to edit Samsung Galaxy Note 9 /system/etc/hosts file

I am currently using Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with Verizon official version 10. I have a reason to block access to certain sites permanently and for that I need to place my customized "hosts" file on internal drive.

What may be the process to achieve this task other than paying and installing a commercially available app.
