Verizon charged me 250$ two years ago and I'm still waiting for the refund.

Hello!

When I moved to this country, two years ago (2016), we decided to get Verizon for out home. They told us that as we didn't have a credit record they had to charge us 250$ (the refund supposed to be one year later,2017), we got that so we paid for it. The problem is that we are still waiting for the refund, almost 7 months later. Is that normal?

The refund normally goes out 6-8 weeks after you pay ONTIME payments for 12 months. If one of those payments was one day late, or you missed a month etc. the year starts all over again. The security deposit normally arrives looking like a post card in your mailbox. My young nephew almost threw his out.

You could if you never missed a payment call 1-800-VERIZON and ask where it is. It may have been already mailed out.
