I have received a call from 800-922-0204 which I believe was(i know for a fact) a spoofed scam phishing call. It left a choppy voice mail directing to a website that Google has marked as a Phishing scam site.
Just thought I would alert V...
That's a good thing for people to remember. You can't rely on Caller ID to authenticate people who call you because it can be spoofed so easily.
If you get a call from a company that you deal with (especially your bank) and they ask for personal information, you should ask if you could call them back at a number that is published on their website or your statements. You could verify numbers by Googling them and it should return a result on the company's official website.
