Every time we turn on a set-top box or change what we're doing, we get pop-up, spam ads from Verizon that stop us from doing what we were doing, while we search around the remote, go look for glasses to read the garbage on the TV and generally disrupt what we want while we figure out how to turn the **bleep** things off.
Where is the setting to get rid of these things, or do we just need to go to a different provider?
