I just had my internet and cable installed on Friday so I was eager to use the myverizon.com features as well, but was unable to register since I don't have an account number. I just called Verizon, and spoke to someone in the billing department regarding my new account number and was told that I have to wait for my first bill to get that information. I don't understand why I cannot register for a service that I am paying for right now and take advantage of it. It doesn't make much sense to me. Was this person mistaken?
