Information bar

Does anyone know how to shorten the time the information bar appears on screen with the 'new' Quantum TV boxes (when you switch channels, the information bar displays at the bottom of the screen)? With the standard FIOS TV box, there was a setting to shorten or lengthen the time the information bar displayed. Two seconds ... or not at all ... is acceptable to me. However, I can't find anywhere in the set up that allows me to change the display time. Thanks.

Go to Menu=>Settings=>System=>Television=> Info Bar Time Out and select the desired time you would like.

Some people with the VMS do not have this option in the menu. I know I dont.

Thanks but that option isn't available. The only options I have under Television are "Default Information Bar" and "Default Information Page." There are no additional categories under either of those categories.

I know the option existed with the old boxes (Scientific America I think). I can't find it with the new Arris boxes. Thanks.
