We moved to a new address in 2009. Verizon kept advertising that moving is easy. I beg to disagree. I informed Verizon of our move and they assured us that there will be no problem. After two months, my service was cut-off ( to think we just got back from a long vacation and road trip). We had no service whatsoever when we got home(Saturday). We called Verizon to report the problem but it took them until Monday to see what was wrong. After a whole day of working in our basement, nothing happened. We called Verizon the next day to inquire, and to our surprise they told us that the repairmen were called back because our service was disconnected. Again we called Verizon to inquire. They apologized and told us there was a miscommunication on their part. They re-applied us for a new one year contract for a triple bundle starting April(the month we arrived from a holiday).
This June, we moved again to a new address. Lo and behold, the same thing happened again. My bill every month is so erratic I don't know which is the real amount I will be paying every month. I don't know why a triple bundle costs me $200 or more. I even lost my International Long Distance Plan and had to pay more than $50 for a plan that costs me $14.99 a month. Everytime I call Verizon they have different answers but my bill is still confusing me as to why I have a lot more to pay every month. Instead of saving, I am paying more for a triple bundle.
And it all started when we moved. I would advise anyone who is thinking of moving(Verizon customers), to think hard again and again before moving.
