I have the QIP7100 (Verizon STB without DVR capability, but has on-demand features). Is the IPC1100 capable of doing the same stuff? If so, does it require the Media Server VMS1100, to work?
Yes, the IPC requires a VMS to work.
So if you don't want a DVR at all, no reason to upgrade or only have 1 TV.
