Balance Forward but I have Autopay?

Can someone explain how I am showing large monthly dollar amounts showing "balance forward" when I autopay my bill? How does this continue to happen, and why do I seem to constantly have another $100 pop up on my bill? Since it's a "balance forward," there's not explanation as to what it's for. Very frustrating!!

Unfortunately my attempts to resolve my billing issues often fail miserably. I'd be much happier taking my chances with the general public finding an answer before I call. Rest assured I'll call for help, but please give me the opportunity to hear what others have experienced regarding this issue.

I have been dealing with this for almost 6 months now. After many long phone calls and being tossed around like a hot potato I have discovered that at one point the verizon autopay system hiccupped. It said online that I am enrolled in autopay and that I don't owe anything but then I get an automated phone call that tells me they are going to turn off my service due to non payment.

Well it turns out that when you enroll in autopay it takes 60 days for it to start drafting out automatically. This didn't use to be the case but it seams they have downgraded their system or something. So you always have one or two months as a balance forward. You then have to call the never ending labyrinth of customer support to get the late fees taken off and to find out how much you actually owe because the website says I owe $0.00.

Good luck to you. Hopefully today I will have my issues resolved (This started last Aug. over 5 months ago)

I am having the same problem. I wonder how wide-spread the issue is since I also have a $7.00 late fee added to my balance.

I'm having this problem too. I've had this happen twice and both times I called and was told they will adjust off the $7 late fee and that my balance with be withdrawn properly next month. Neither has happened. I manually paid my bill less the $7 late charge each time.
