Is there a way to prevent movies from being ordered, my ederly mother keeps ordering movies and doesn't even know she did it. How can I block all rentals and movie purchases?
Settings, system, Parental/purchase, add control to purchases, and a pin to parental control.
Is there a way to do this remotely?
I live in MO and the Verizon equipment is being used in NJ.

You might be able to get a verizon agent to do it, but you would at least need to be authorized on the account. Not sure if an agent can do it for you, but worth a try. Can you have a neighbor do it for you?
