I spoke with Verizon yesterday about an issue with a closed account from years ago. They transferred me to Verizon's credit dept, where I sat on hold for four and a half hours with no answer. I eventually hung up b/c I had to sleep...of all things. Is that normal? Did I get sent to some phone limbo? Is there a way to email them w/o having your old account number since this is a 3+year old account and the person I talked to couldn't access that old of an account.
