Instant 411 third party charges

This is just a warning.

Check your bills I was hit with this charge for a service that I NEVER requested.

A company by the name of Instant 411 has the ability to sign you up for their services using only your home phone number.

If you need to get this removed you will need to call OAN not Verizon.

If anyone from upper management in Verizon is reading this.... PLEASE stop this company from charging your customers.

AGAIN.......CHECK YOUR BILLS.... I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE HIT WITH THIS....SOME OF MY CO-WORKERS HAVE ALSO BEEN VICTIMS OF THIS LATEST SCAM!!!

This is an age old scam known as "cramming" and is unfortunately happens quite often if you aren't paying attention. You can call Verizon and ask that block be place on your bill to prevent other companies from initiating charges. And yes ... the way the system works, you have to call the source of the charge and have them remove it.

You should direct your complaints to the better business bureau and your state attorney general as a fraudulent business practice on the part of the originator of the charges.
