I have a second number attached to my home phone and I want to disassociate it from this number and make it the primary number on a new cell phone. Can I do this? How do I go about doing it?
I would think that under number portability that you would be able to do it.
I believe you need to initiate the process through the cell carrier you are considering. They can tell you whether they can start the process for you, or whether you need to make a request through your current carrier.
