Good morning, my name is Tina Krieger, I was a Comcast Xfinity customer for the last 2 years or so, a Verizon representative visited our town complex and convinced me to switch to Verizon FiOs so I signed up as a new FiOs customer last year May of 2010. I enrolled in the "Share the Network" program and began telling everyone about Verizon FiOs. I had two different family members sign up as new customers switching over from Comcast Xfinity to Verizon FiOs service, however, they did not see a field to type in the referral code I gave them when they signed up for their service, about 3 days ago. I'm aware that since I referred them through the Share the Network program, I should be entitled to a reward of $50.00 because they both ordered all three services. However, I have never participated in such a program and did not know where to input the referral code, therefore, the code was not input. Both family members are willing to help me go about resolving this through whatever action they may need to take, if that helps any. My questions are as follows...
Am I just exempt from receiving the $50.00 Reward bonus because I was unable to figure out where they needed to enter the referral code or can they call Verizon, verify their accounts, and add this referral code so that I can receive the bonus I'am entitled to?
Any information or suggestions would be highly appreciated. I dont know if I should call Verizon myself or have them call and explain the situation to a customer service representative?
