I placed a FIOS order on 8/11. Verizon refused to provide me a loaner LTE device until the strike is over. When should I give up and call the cable company if I need service no later than 8/29/2011? I'm about to move and not having internet means giving up telecommuting. Also, does anyone know if Verizon plans to reward customers who wait? We deserve a free month's service to go back to Verizon (at least) if it was necessary to get service from the cable company.
