Verizon has lost their mind, in fact I dont think theyve had it all along. Starting January I started getting billed for 2 HD STB and 2 standard STB's, I'VE ONLY EVER HAD TWO!!!! I called they said they see 4 active, i tell them thats not possible, I only have two, Ive only ever had two, I only have 2 tv's for them to even hook up to. Month after month this continues despite them saying it will be fixed on the next bill. Bill starts to climb and climb, despite calls to verizon customer service every month with them saying it will be fixed and we put in a repair ticket to refund your amount due that resulted from the double charging, nothing was ever fixed. I cancelled my verizon service due to this and switched to comcast. I went to return my ONLY 2 STB's that i had to the local verizon fios store place and they said they only see the two that i had in my hand on my account which i was returning. Later I got a letter saying that i had un-returned equipment and to call their equipment return phone number to which i did and explained the situation to that girl over the phone. She said she took care of it and thanked me for my time blah blah blah. Get a new bill from verizon where I'm being billed for TWO IMAGINARY STB's! 900$. Verizon is insane. What can I possibly do? I've called them tons of times, that hasnt got me ANNNYYWHHHEERRREE. I do have access to attorney's, is this route possible? I'd rather not call them and bother them about this but if its a plausible direction I will.
