P265 Remote won't change volume or mute on Vizio VP422 TV`

My remote won't change the volume, mute, or turn on/off the TV but will do everything else! This is very frustrating! I have a Vizio VP422 HDTV10A with the SBT CHS435HDC

What do I do, I've tried programing and reprograming it several times but it won't work!!!

Did you try to cycle through all the codes for that Verizon's remote? Please let us know if problem still exist.

Yes I have but didn't work. Yesterday, I switched from HDMI to component and still didn't work until I swiitched to controlling the STB and now I can change the volume and mute with the P265 remote but not with my harmony 650 remote, would really like for the 650 remote to work so I just have to have one remote.
