LOSING BROADBAND CONNECTIVITY

for no reason, i find my broadband drops and i'm left with only local connection to use on my computer.

it usally comes back on automatically within a minute or two....does anyone know why this happens

and what i can do to eliminate it?

i produce an online radio program and this messes with my skype recorder.

Is this wired or wireless?

Do you have FiOS or HSI?

Is this the only device connected to the internet when the problem occurs? If not, do other devices lose connectivity as well?

We're end-users here, just like you. We need more information.
