Has anybody noticed that when Fios is new to an area, the first customers have problems?
I've had service for slightly less than two months. I am one of the first to get the service in my condo complex. So far, I've had three outages. They claim it's because of a broken fiber.
I'm giving Verizon two months more before I decide if I should switch back to Time Warner Cable. (In 6.5 years, I never had a service outage with them.)
What's aggravates me about the problems is that each time I call it's 45 minutes to two hours on the phone. usually most of that is spent trying to reach a person.
I'm not certain Verizon's repair people even understand Fios. I've had one repairman show up only to say I had no service. (Well, DUH!) Another one called my home number to let me know he would be there early. (My issue was no service at all and he calls me? As Bugs Bunny would say "What a maroon!")
