Free Promotion Costing Me $25 a Month

I recently took advantage of what was supposed to be a three-month free trial of the Fully Loaded Entertainment pack. But I'm being charged $39.99, with a $14.99 "credit" for an HBO/Cinemax promo. So this "free" promo is costing me $25 a month. As soon as I noticed this, I cancelled the Fully Loaded Entertainment package so I wouldn't keep getting overcharged further. But to add insult to injury, I'm no longer even getting access to HBO or Cinemax, even though my account shows that I'm still on this free trial. So not only am I paying $25 a month for what was supposed to be a free promo, now they've cut me off a month early. I'm glad my contract is up, because I've had it with these billing fiascos. I'm pretty sure I've had more incorrect bills than correct ones with Verizon.

Live chat doesn't work. I notice that all other messages in this forum prompt a response that the information will be forwarded to an employee or a response will be provided in a direct message or e-mail. I would prefer to have this addressed in this way if possible. I'm done spending time on hold with Verizon's customer service line & repeatedly getting cut off.

It looks like this was a widespread problem, with the three-month free Fully Loaded promo being offered online but then customers were charged the full $39.99 for that while getting a smaller discount added back.

It's bad enough to pull this crap, but it's another thing entirely for customer service reps not to believe the customers calling to complain.
