figured iipod connect to fivespot

How do i connect my ipod touch to my broadband through my fivespot? I enter my SSIN and password but my ipod says "could not find the network". My laptop connects to my fivespot just fine, with and without USB. Am I missing something? Are they compatible? My ipod can connect to other wireless networks.

Nevermind, figured it out. I still tried to connect it to the fivespot when it was in USB mode. Just turned off the fivespot and turned it back on and was able to connect. :smileyhappy:

I have a similar problem, but not quite the same. I cannot connect to the internet. The settings show connect, the ISP, etc are filled in correctly. When I try to go to the app store I get a "loading" screen that turns into Cannot connect to iTunes store. When I go to Safari iget the same thing, i.e. not connected to the internet. When I use my in house router it works fine, I am able to reach both sites. What is the problem with the fivespot?

Try adjusting the settings on the device.

You would access the firewall settings to allow the itunes Application.
