Tv one remote issue

I have had the tv one for months with no issue. But now when I power everything on - tv receiver and stb I get a message that says programming your remote for your tv/av devices..... programming in progress. Keep your remote pointed at your receiver. I have followed this several times. But the message is there next time. How do I get rid of the messsge

Unplug the box from the power and the HDMI cable for 3 or 4 minutes. Plug HDMI back in, then power. See if that helps.

Was there ever a real resolution here? I have the same issue on 2 out of 4 boxes, both connected to Toshiba "FireTVs".

Did you try puling the batteries from the remote for 2 or 3 minutes, then put them back in? Also try menu>settings>voice control>fios tv voice remote>program fios tv voice remote>reset remote setup. Then go back and do an auto setup.
