Line was installed 5 days ago. TV service still not on. How long does it take to begin?

They should have scheduled a turn up date with you. Sometimes a contractor will run the line in advance (my tech did both) followed by a Verizon tech to install ONT and turn up service.
I think a week is not our of the ordinary.
But I would respond to PM as requested. They can look up details on your account and give you more exact info.
