Text from Self ????

My wife and I are on a Family Share plan.  When I send her a text, her phone says that the text is from herself, not me, even though my cell number is in her contacts list.  She is the primary account holder, as she had a Verizon account before I added a line to it.  Any ideas about what may be causing this?

Make sure the number in her contacts list is the full 10 digit phone number. If that doesn't seem to be the problem, have her delete your contact info, restart the phone, then re-enter it, or call her and have her save the contact info from the call so it doesn't involve typing in the information.
