I recently upgraded my DVR and one function I had previously does not work. When I selecte "Guide" I have to set it to "Favorites 1" each time rather than that being my default setting. Very annoying.
There is an option to enable that.
Go to Menu-Settings-System-Television-Last Viewed Guide state. Set it to enable.
Then once you have set guide to favorites, it should remember.
Last viewed guide is not an option under television on the new upgraded Fios box. If anyone has an option for default guide issue I will follow.
