I currently have a Double Play Bundle-$44.99 per month (Freedom Essentials for phone and High Speed Internet Enhanced). Due to being laid off, I am trying to save money and wanted to change to the $29.99 per month plan (this would change the phone plan to Regional Essentials). I was chatting with a customer service rep online and was told that I can't do this because I cannot change my phone plan. Why Not? Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it? I'm not in any type of a contract.
