Vizio sound Bar

When programming my Fios p265 v5 remote. I press the ok and * buttons.

i, then press the mute or volume buttons until the code gets excepted. However, when I press ok to confirm the codes, it doesn’t store them.
Any help, would be appreciated.

vizio 2 channel sound bar using optical connection.
