With the Premium service where I have two media servers, if I record a show on Media server 1 can I play it back on the tv that is connected to Media server 2?
No you can not.
I am pretty sure you can play from one VMS to the other.

Yes you can. Not sure why the other poster claims you can't. You can watch any recording from any VMS (Media Server) in a Quantum setup.
