We checked cables. Reset boxes. But every night again. Things will work a few hours and then it just stops. Freezes. Lags. Freezes. Over and over.

What box is freezing? A VMS 4100 or a mini or is it a VMS 1100? Have you tried powercycling your router? Does your internet drop out when you have the TV issues?
Have you tried powercycling the ONT? Could also be a bad splitter. Need more details to figure what's going on.
