Just read a disturbing story at CNET http://news.cnet.com/8301-30686_3-57349742-266/verizon-wireless-yep-thatll-be-$2-to-pay-your-bill-online/ that Verizon Wireless will be charging fees for one-time bill pay.
Does this mean if you use a cell phone to pay your bills you'll be charged $2? Or if you pay your cell phone or phone bill or Verizon FIOS bill on line you'll be charged more?
Because everytime I pay my Verizon FIOS package bill I'm assaulted with messages asking me to go paper-free. Why would we ever do that now?
i'm all for keeping the US Postal Service alive, but I think we'd all like an explanation post-haste, now that the web's aware.
Thanks for any info.
