I spoke to customer support for 1 1/2 hour trying to get my guide set to Subscribed Channels. It kept defaulting back to all channels. The tech kept putting me on hold to talk to the programmers. The tech never got it fixed. I figured it out on my own.

Also, my Widget for weather hasn’t worked properly for months. Verizon acknowledged the problem and said they were unable to fix it.

FYI, i have and use that feature today.

In order for it to work you have to enable "last viewed guide state" in the fios menu.

If you want to try it out, then you would go to menu / setting / system / television.

It's not visible until you go all the way to the bottom.

With that enabled, it tells the menu to remember it's last viewed guide state. In your case, subscribed channels only.
