Received unexplained Notification

On My Verizon>My Messages>Notifications i received this message:

"Service & Product Activity
VASIP was added on 6/01/2012.

This change may take up to 60 days to reflect on your bill."

What is VASIP? What does it include? Did I order this? What will it cost me?

VASIP is an umbrella term for any of Verizon's "Value Added Services" such as the Internet Security Suite, Backup and Sharing, etc.

What it will cost you depends on what service was added. You should be able to check this online or call in to get the information.

In theory, yes you ordered it. If you don't believe that you ordered any of the VASIP services, definitely call Verizon and find out what was added, when, and how.

I got the same message awhile back, but never changed/ordered anything. I never saw any billing changes so I think it was a message that got sent out in error or something.
