This has been a long string of emails. I took my daughters fourth replacement phone in today and talked to tech support on the phone. We explained the problem and went though the options. We ended up using an upcoming upgrade and buying a new phone. I did not feel like I should have had to use another phone’s upgrade or pay any more money but I did. In the discussions the tech support man said we could get $80 for the most recent phone if we returned it. That was part of the discussion and compromise. BUT, when we go to the trade in information, the first question asks whether the phone powers up. The phone does not power up – that is one of the many problems we have had with all four phones. We had already told tech support this. SO, we are not being told we will only get $17 for the phone.
