Have you tried power resting the DVRs?
What about checking connections.
Sometimes they are intermittant and just need a tightening to make them work.
Are they off the same splitter maybe?
Check any splitters you have. If the main one is working and the second isnt it sure sounds like a splitter issue to me. That or the box itself went bad and just needs to be replaced.
