Our landline's been down since Thursday afternoon, 11/18/10. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I did contact Verizon. On Friday 11/19, they said a cable was being repaired, and they were predicting it would be repaired by 9 pm that night. It's now Sunday 11/21 at 3 pm, and still no service.
