Starz Play help

Have had no problems running this program on my laptop running Vista Home Premium from install until 8/14/2008, when Windows Update loaded/installed some updates. Now I get the splash screen when I attempt to launch the program, but quickly get a "stopped working" error, and the program closes. I turned off Windows auto update, and uninstalled all updated loaded from 8/14-15/2008, rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled StarzPlay, and still have the error. Any assist would be appreciated, thanks.

I wouldn't have any idea exactly what would have caused it, but in addition I would consider doing a system restore to before the update.

Unfortunately that system restore point didn't get saved (my system doesn't save very many). Need a fix by Verizon/Starz.

I spoke to someone who said they ordered Starzplay and it doesn't work but they didn't get billed because Verizon said it wasn't working yet.

You can call #1-800-567-56789 to check wheather the straz play is active or Inactive.

I wasn't aware that there were 5 digits in the phone number....56789? Also that link is faux...i tried and all i get is "Address not found"...one has to really sweat to get any information that is accurate in this forum or even answered to..I understand these are fellow members volunteering, and am amazed that they even have any information to give, considering the awful customer service Verizon offers..can't wait for my year obligation to end...even with a 6 month freebee.
