how to cancel Broadband Essentials & Extras?

Hi all,

I hope someone can help me out on how to cancel Broadband Essentials & Extras.

I simply reset my wireless router and got prompted to reinstall software. Along the way I chose "custom installation" and chose not to install the Broadband Essentials & Extras.

Long stories short. At the end, Verizon said I ordered "Broadband Essentials & Extras".

How do I cancel the "Broadband Essentials & Extras" service online (without wasting too much time calling customer service)?

Go in to www.verizon.net/myaccount and in the tab there would be MANAGE MY BROADBAND ESSENTIALS AND EXTRAS.

You can cancel it from there.Else you can call Verizon 1-800-567-6769 to get it cancel

I have tried that method, but there is no option on that page on my account to cancel or uncheck the service. It simply is not listed. I have sent 5 emails to support and have never received anything but an irrelevant automated reply.

Perhaps the only way to cancel this annoying service is to move to Comcast!
