All I want to know is if Windows Messenger can be used with Verizon Broadband. I have Verizon Broadband. Can I download Windows Messenger and use it without having to sign up for a bunch of stuff I don't want.

You can use Windows Messenger with any broadband connection. All you need is the messenger software.
