Vista 64 conflict with MSN Messenger

I just purchased a new laptop and after installing my Verizon and MSN software my computer started to crash over and over. My computer's tech support was able to find that there was a conflict with Messenger (I have Vista Home Premium 64 bit) and I eventually needed to do a System Recovery to completely correct the situation. I now use Firefox but would prefer to have my MSN butterfly back. Are there plans to include Vista 64 bit OS in MSN Messenger compatibility? Thank you.

I am not surprised with the conflict, Verizon's Security Suite seems to be in conflict with Vista 64 bit as well.
