This morning I had no dial tone on my landline home phone. Subsequently, it returned, but with significant static on the line. I contacted Verizon customer service repair and was told the next available repair appointment was in 4 days and would require my being home all day. There was no appointment available for less than the whole day for that day or any day. Is there any other repair service or person I can contact for a more specific appointment?
