Make sure you're logged in as an Administrator. The user account should be able to install programs to the computer without an issue. Away from that, make sure the instaler is running as the Administrator. If you have Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 you'll usually see a UAC Prompt appear on your screen asking you to allow changes to be made. If you don't accept it or press Cancel, the installer will error out.
