I have become very disappointed with how hard it is to get a connection speed and intermittent drop corrected with verizon. I have a westell 6600 modem and a netgear 330 router and I have High speed enhanced service from verizon. Using speedtest.com to test my internet speed I have terrible results considering I have "high speed internet". I have made service calls, and had someone out to my home last week to clear the static on the line and I am still have connection drops with similar frequency (though not as lengthyas they were since the static was removed). I have been assured that the Modem is not the problem, but I have also been assured that everything with the line is fine. If thats the case than why is my home network now TERRIBLE and my internet speed at a snails pace? Can someone help me figure this out? I will say however, that since my issues have progressed, so have the sales calls from verizon to get me to switch to fios. mutiple call in the last week. Coincidence?
