NAT type not Open

The NAT type on my gateway is listed as moderate.

Therefore, the wireless connections transmitted to my laptop are usually very slow, and makes it extremely slow to send files to my family.

I know this is all due to my gateway, what I'm asking is either a fix for my gateway (firmware update?) or what gateway I should get, that I can run through Verizon.

I have the Actiontec GT704-WG gateway right now.

#1 Check the default gateway on your computer.

#2 When you go to the default gateway, it takes you to the GT704-WG?
