Get an Area Code for Local Number

Hi all,

I am in Connecticut. I work in New York City. I don't have a mailing address in NYC.

I am wondering if I can get a 212 telephone number and forward that to my cell, etc?

I am afraid I am loosing work becasue I have a CT area code on my phone.
