I have not been able to get internet connection though the DSL connection connects fine. I went through all the troubleshooting with the support tech. Before he would say it may be the modem he said it was my line. I went and purchased a brand new phone line and ran it directly from the phone box to the wall mount. Still no internet. Are there any configurations I need to know ? I am using the 6100f modem. I have tried it hooked to USB and Ethernet cable . The DSL signal connects fine but no internet connection. It just states "PPP down" . Any help would be appreciated as I have not been able to get anywhere with tech support. By the way they called today to say the problem was fixed. Trouble is it hasn't changed.
