iTouch

I have an iTouch and I'm having problems with sending email. I can receive email but not send.

Is Verizon Fios compatible with the iTouch? I have the incoming settings at incoming.verizon.net

and outgoing set at outgoing.verizon.net. Is there anything else I should be doing?
