I tried to setup a home wireless network using the wizard on window XP, but failed because the Westell 327W does not have a USB port. Is there any way to use the 327w to share file and printer between computers?? My 327W is upstairs and the CPU is downstairs with no way to connect to a phone line.

Yes, I believe you can...

#1 The first thing that I want to know, is it you are NATTED.

On XP, this means going to Start -> Run.

Type in cmd

and press enter.

In the new window called the command prompt, type in ipconfig /all

and press enter.

If you are NATTED, your IP address will be one of the following three important ranges.

a) 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255

b) 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255

c) 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.225
