Due to corruption of my O/S "Windows 7 Ultimate", I am doing a complete reinstall. I have misplaced my Verizon internet installation disc. How can I re-establish my internet connection after I reinstall Windows without the disc? Thanks!
t's basically the same thing you would do if you were connecting a second computer through the same home gateway.
The gateway (router/modem) remains activated. All you have to do after an oprating system reinstall is get your network connection settings back to what they were before. There is a utility that will copy your files and settings to a jump drive for migrating to another computer. You should be able to use that utility to save your files and settings to a jump drive before reinstallation, and restore them after/

There is a reference to activation in the PDF from the above link, you will not have to do this AFA I know since you are already activated.

This. Windows includes this by default in Windows 7. If you already use a Wired Ethernet connection, all you need to worry about is ensuring your Wired network adapter has drivers installed after the re-install. If Windows installs them automatically during initial setup, you'll be online the moment you get to your desktop.
The DSL service does not require setup disks. Everything can be done through a web browser. Really old computers without a network card, may require the USB driver but network cards are just rediculously cheap these days.
